Digital Billboards
Digital billboards are sparking a revolution in the outdoor advertising industry. The billboards, which use digital technology to rotate different advertising messages every six to eight seconds, have a greater ability to catch the eye of passing motorists.

Digital billboards currently number about 400 across the country. However, within the next 10 years as many as 4,000 additional billboards may be converted to digital, according to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America.

Outdoor billboard companies, as you might expect, are overjoyed by the digital phenomenon, since they can generate three to five times more money per billboard due to the revolving messages. However, besides their static locations, one of the main drawbacks of digital billboards is that because their images are constantly shifting, there’s no guarantee that an advertiser’s message will be seen by the greatest number of potential customers at the right time.

LED advertising, on the other hand, as perfected by Michigan-based New Life Media, offers the distinct advantage of bringing an advertiser’s message – and only that message – off the side of the road and directly to the audience targeted to receive it. This is accomplished by the use of huge 8-by-16 foot video display screens mounted on either side of a mobile vehicle capable of going places a permanent digital billboard simply can’t.

Digital billboards are undoubtedly the wave of the future, but New Life Media and mobile electronic display advertising is right here, right now – and right where consumers can best see your message.
